Strengthening Teachers’ and Elementary School Principals’ Knowledge About Developmentally Appropriate Practice

About the Community of Practice

In Vail, we will be expanding early childhood teachers’, elementary school principals’ and other administrators’ skills and knowledge about developmentally appropriate practice, transition to kindergarten and how young children learn.

Participants will have the opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge by identifying principles and exploring methods of how young children learn while making connections with other early childhood professionals.

Cohort Days and Times:

We will meet the third Thursday every month, 6:30-8:30pm, for in-depth collaborative sessions.  You will be encouraged to share thoughts and reflections around your current practices and future goals.

Location: Calvin Baker Leadership Building in Vail
